biographical note

Ron A. Kalman worked as a driver for one of Boston's leading medical institutions. He traversed not only the roadways of Boston and Cambridge, but also the hallways of the hospital and you can find references to his experiences there sprinkled throughout his writings. In his off hours, he pursued an MFA at Emerson College while haunting the cities' coffeehouses and bars where he met fellow artists, friends and lovers. Their lively mix engendered the musings that form the basis of his first collection of poetry (not yet published) from which you will find excerpts on these pages. He continues to live and muse in the Boston area.
